What Causes Intermittent Pain In The Outer Ear?
Question: My digital hearing aid is causing intermittent pain in my outer ear. I have used Sofradex for this condition before with excellent results. Is there an alternative to this medication which does not require a UK NHS oresciption?
Brief Answer:
You can use Otomize ear spray
Detailed Answer:

Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your health concern
Sofradex ear drops contain dexamethasone(steroid) and antibiotics to clear up the infection and reduce inflammation.
An ear spray which has similar steroid and antibiotic combination. which is available over the counter is OTOMIZE ear spray.
You can use the spray three times daily on the affected ear for 10 days.
You should start noticing relief in first 72 hours. If the pain does not decrease in 72 hours, please be advised to follow up with your GP.
