Should I take her to the er if her temp does not go done or any other advice u may have ???
Brief Answer:
You can continue the treatment at home...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Don't be worried. For now you can give her medicines for fever as prescribed. Normally viral fevers show decreasing trend towards 5th day. And during this course, she will have intermittent spikes of fever. Encourage her to drink plenty of fluids and eat fruits and vegetables. Follow the medications religiously.
In my opinion she needs evaluation for other causes, if fever lasts for more than 5-6 days. Other causes may be sinusitis, tonsillitis, LRTI, UTI, enteric fever, Kawasaki disease, etc.
Hope I am clear. Will be happy to help you
Best regards
