What Causes Itchiness In Pubic Area After Using Hair Removal Cream?

Question: About a month ago, I used veet hair removal cream on the "lower region" of my body. I'm usually pretty careful about it but this time I bought a more sensitive cream but it wasn't the bikini line cream. Long story short, it itches. Alot. There aren't any bumps or weird discharge. It just itches. I try not to scratch so much but if I do after words, it would burn a little bit when I urinate or if I take a bubble bath. I've used the bikini cream in the past alot and never got so much irritation as I do now with the more sensitive body and legs cream.
Brief Answer:
Topical mometasone and fusidic acid
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to HCM.
It seems you have got local irritation to the cream you have used. It is called Contact irritant dermatitis.
Nothing to worry as your skin will be fine soon.
I would advise you a week course of oral prednisolone in low dose (5-10mg). This is a prescription drug. Please discuss with your doctor about the same.
Apply a mild corticosteroid like mometasone and antibiotic like fusidic acid twice a day.
Avoid use of any harsh soap or cleanser over genitals for few days.
Hope this was useful.
Take care
