What Causes Lack Of Feeling And Strength In Legs After Falling?

Question: I slipped on Saturday fell back and hit my upper back on inside door frame of truck. I didn't fall all the way down I was leaned back against truck and squatted. I tried but couldn't use my legs to push myself up so I yelled for my husband to help me up. It took a few seconds for me to get up pulling up with my arms because it was almost like I had no strength in my legs and I was locked in position. I had pain throughout my entire body the next few days. I have laid around and relaxed avoiding any unnecessary lifting. I have taken a muscle relaxant and hydrocodone to help ease the pain. As of today I'm not hurting except in my upper back. I have this stabbing pain between my left shoulder blade and spine. If I try to use my left arm or bend over and reach out with either arm or move certain ways or tilt/turn my head . That's when it stabs me. also if I take a deep breath or cough without moving it does it. I don't know what else to do. I have no insurance so I have avoided seeing a Dr. I have also used heating pad and OTC pain patches. What should I do now?
