What Causes Large White Bump On Inside Of Vaginal Lip?

Question: I use a feminine wipe when using public bathrooms, and apparently a corner of the wipe was used on the inside of my vagina and I didn't realize that until this morning I noticed I have a big white bump on the inside lip of my vagina as well as a small one and its swollen. It hurts to walk, sit and wipe myself with toilet paper when I'm home. That night upon climbing into bed, it popped and the swelling has gotten worse on the left side. Today I noticed I have two big sores on the swollen left lip while I have about three on the inner part of the right lip almost completely inside my vagina. I'm wondering what this is and the best way to get rid of it

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to bartholinitis. It is usually due to bacterial infection of bartholin gland.

Hot fomentation and betadine ointment application will be helpful if mild. Antibiotic therapy will be necessary if not helping. A local examination by a gynecologist and swab test is well appreciated. In case of abscess formation incision and drainage is advised also.

Betadine ointment is available over the counter. You can get it from pharmacy with out prescription.
Hot fomentation; You can do it by using a clean towel. Dip the towel in hot water squeeze the water out and then apply gently on the swollen area.

The hot fomentation has been helping soothe the area and is making it easier for me to walk, and sleep. But now when i have to go to the bathroom and urinate it stings like crazy causing me to almost scream and cry in pain.

While urine fall on the bump it will irritates and cause pain or burning sensation. You can pour warm water or warm saline while urinating. This will decrease the irritation.

If there is no improvement then approach your doctor for antibiotic therapy.
