Excessive and dark stretch marks in various places, increasing somewhat rapidly (and unusually for someone this age) Also scars unusually badly after injury to skin. Low energy, and fitness seeming to decline. rapid weight gain for someone who is and has been quite active all of her life. she is trying to keep up with her sport of soccer, but is having an increasingly difficult time keeping up with her team. out of breath and exhausted. VERY MOODY.

Brief Answer:
rule out hormonal disorder
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
Given her symptoms, I would think of hormonal disorders, especially thyroid and adrenal glands.
You need to consult an endocrinologist and get evaluated for hormonal levels in blood. Most likely that would clinch the diagnosis and treatment can then be initiated.
Hope this helps. I will be available for follow up.
