Brief Answer:
coppet -t induced intermenstrual bleeding
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM,
yes there is a possibility of light inter menstrual bleeding for at least 1-2 cycles and even the menses are likely to be slightly heavier because of copper-t insertion but this shall subside naturally, so you need not worry with this regard. As the copper-t is in place, there is no need to worry.
If the bleeding is in excess or troubling you then she may use antifibrinolytics like TAB TRANEXAMIC ACID 500mg twice a day for 3-5 days and the spotting / scanty bleed shall stop and you shall be able to resume normal sexual activities.
you may get it prescribed by your physician .

What causes bleeding
What causes bleeding
Brief Answer:
answered
Detailed Answer:
It takes some time for copper-t to embed into the myometrium per se and the endometrium growing around it during the proliferative phase tend to break because of arms or copper-t and causes the bleeding but after few days into the secretory phase, the endometrium overgrows the point of contact of the copper-t arm to the myometrium and stabilises thereby stopping the bleeding. If there is no pain accompanied there is no need to worry.
She may use tranexamic acid for bleeding control. This is normal and you should not be worried. give the copper-t some time to settle.

Brief Answer:
take trapic thrice a day
Detailed Answer:
She should be taking TRAPIC E thrice a day in that case for next 3 days and if it still doesn't stop then she can be placed on oc pills 3 stat and then tapered in next 2 days to stop the bleeding.
The blood oxidises in contact with air and turns brownish, so thats normal.
So please follow the advise.

Brief Answer:
normal USG
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The volume of left ovary is slightly more , normal being 10cc for each. ANYTHING MORE IS GENERALLY INDICATIVE OF POLYCYSTIC DISEASE.
However corpus luteum is a normal occurrence after the ovum is released from the XXXXXXX follicle, and it resolves by the end of the cycle.
So effectively the ultrasound is a normal study.
