I have been on zoladex safesystem implants for treatment of endometrosis. After the second implant I did not bleed but two days after my 3rd I have started bleeding and now on my 8th day with lots of pain in the lower abdo area and back close to my anus. I have recently been admitted to hospital for symptoms possibly linked to Lupus, of which I am waiting for my appointment for a neurologist and referral to Rhumatologist. I had a trans vag ultrasound which only showed a follicle...really no cause for bleeding. i have had other strange times of bleeding after sex and when i first got my period back after my 2yr old daughter. My Gyno is currently away and the other dr is recommending Tranexamic acid 1-2every six hours. I am just concerned as to whether this medication is safe for people with lupus, as I don t want to trigger worse symptoms and issues with blood clots.
