Brief Answer:
A few measures suggested...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Your description sounds like shin splints. However sometimes running on fatigued legs can lead to creatinine build up resulting in pain. This fatiguability induced pain is especially seen in irregular runners. Over a period of time with regular running as muscles get stronger, you get to tolerate it better.

At this point of time it is best to stay away from running for a few days. The next time you run, make sure you warm up few days. Start with slow and short distance run. You can gradually increase speed and distance based on your tolerance. And make sure you have enough fluids before the run.

It would also be beneficial if you can get your blood hemoglobin, serum calcium, iron, vitamin D levels checked. In case they are deficient, correcting it will help you. If you have done these test already, let me know in the follow up.

If symptoms recur despite these changes, I will encourage you to see an orthopedic surgeon for physical examination and evaluation.

Hope this suffices. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Regards
