What Causes Medium To Loose Stool Consistency?

Question: I am 37 yrs old. I am 5 ft. My weight is 67 kg. I have medium to loose stool consistency once in the morning.is it normal. Do I need to go to doctor.

Having medium to loose stool consistency is within the normal variants of stool consistency. I do not see any reason why to visit your doctor. Unless, you are having other unusual symptoms or suffering of IBS.

Furthermore, you are saying to be using vit.D supplements. Did the stool become loose when you started vit.D? Or, your stool is always loose?

No, my stool always had medium to loose consistency. My friend's wife recently has been diagnosed with colon cancer and that made me read an article about colon cancer symptoms.
One of symptom was feces should be single and big. I usually have 3-4 feces which are not very big in my stool. Is that normal. Do you think I have IBS or should screen for colon cancer as in 3 years I will be 40 Yrs.

If your stool has been always medium or loose in consistency, then, it is within the normal variants of stool consistency.

I do not think your symptoms are indicative to colon cancer. They seem to be related to IBS to my opinion.

Before running colonoscopy, I'd ask to do fecal occult blood testing to rule out colon cancer.
