What Causes Mild Pain And Swelling After Proluton Injection?
Question: I have done scanning on 19th may 2015 which revealed 6 weeks 2 days pregnancy with retroplacental clot of 1.1 centimetre size I was admitted to hospital with a prescription of antibiotic coverage and proluton 500mg injection . Injection sites had mild pain which later aggravated and has swelling at the site and the pain is getting worse day by day which makes it difficult even to work. is there any specific reason for this
we have done hot fermentation
is there any are the remedy where we can reduce the pain and swelling. What about RPC

Hi
I have come across many cases of Injection abscess, occuring at the site of injection. I have seen both in upper arm and buttocks.
Initially, it starts as Cellulitis, infection of skin and tissue beneath the skin (subcutaneous tissue).Later, pus gets collected causing pain and local rise of temperature.
I prefer to get an Ultrasound of the affected area and confirm the stage.whether abscess has formed or not.If abscess is not evolved, I prescribe Antibiotic like Cefuroxime tablet along with Anti inflammatory tablet to my patients with similar complaints. If abscess has formed, then Incision and Drainage is the only option.
I request you to consult your doctor and get an Ultrasound of the affected area.
I feel that RPC has no role in your case.
It has to be dealt by a Surgeon.
Nothing to worry. It will come down.
