Thanks for your reply.

Its been last one month I am having this pain.

There is no swelling or tenderness or restriction of movement.

There is no history of Trauma however sometime back a stone gravel was stuck in my slipper and it was causing pain for some days before I realized and took it out from slipper. can that be the reason.

I do walking daily for half an hour in the evening.

Mine is a desk job so no standing is involved for long hours

Brief Answer:
Your symptoms seems to pertain to a mild chronic muscle strain

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for the follow up,

Its good to know that you do not have any of the above factors thereby enabling me to find out that your symptoms seems to pertain to a mild chronic muscle strain that has developed over a period of time resulting from walking with an impacted stone in your slipper.

Mild muscle strains can be treated successfully at home. I would suggest you to do the following:
- Maximum rest to the ankle joint would be appreciated. Youc an achieve this by avoiding daily half hour walking for a weeks time. While at office, you could try keeping the affected leg extended.
- apply ankle brace or splint which is available over the counter. This will ensure enough support even while walking
- you can start on Tab. Ibuprofen for pain and a tablet containing serratiopeptidase which would reduce the underlying inflammation.
- daily 10-15 mins of soaking the affected limb in warm saline water

There is no need to meet with an orthopedist as of now. You will be able to notice the difference in a weeks time.

Hope this helps
Please feel free to discuss if you have any further queries or else kindly close and give your feedback.
