What Causes Multiple Joint Pain?

Question: Sudden bilateral hip pain, both hips feel bruised, but no external bruising. No falls or injuries. I have had bone pain all over for a few months. Some swelling of the joints in my hands. Multiple left shoulder surgeries just since 2010, now in last year have arthritis in left ac in shoulder on dray. Extreme pain in shoulder and hips. Gout and RA on my mom's side of family. My last RA factor in March 2012 was negative. I do have a platelet defect (QPD) and have had relapsing polychondritis in my left ear by punch bx

So 2 yesrs ago all those tests were negative when they were working me up for new dx: new daily persistent headaches. I had neurostimulator placed occipitally feb 2012

Brief Answer: Seeing a physiotherapist will help. Detailed Answer: Hi, Sorry for late reply. If all these tests were negative then it could be due to non specific fibromyalgia. Plenty of exercise, addressing any stress and seeing a physiotherapist will help. Try and evaluate if something is causing stress as stress can indeed extremely varied and weird manifestations. For persistent headache you need to consult your neurologist.
