What Causes Nodular Sclerosing Hodgkin's Disease?

yes.. Reed-Sternberg cells that are seen with multiple lobed nucleus
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the query
Nodular sclerosing Hodgkin lymphoma, is the most coomon type.
which constitutes 60-80% of all cases of Hodgkin lymphoma, the morphology shows a nodular pattern. Broad bands of fibrosis divide the node into nodules.
Reed-Sternberg (R-S) cells are nothing but abnormal cells.
Usually people with Hodgkin lymphoma have R-S cells, although other abnormal cell types may be present.
Reed-Sternberg cells continually divide, making more and more abnormal cells, which do not die when they should. As these abnormal cells build up, they can form a mass of tissue called a tumor.
The characteristic cell is the lacunar-type Reed-Sternberg cell, which has a monolobated or multilobated nucleus, a small nucleolus, and abundant pale cytoplasm.

Could you tell me if these photos of lymph-node tissue could be consistent with Acute Epstein-Barr Disease? About a year to a year and a half before samples were taken I had symptoms of sore swollen lymph nodes especially in the groin area, fever, malaise, joint aches and an ulcerated raw sore with noticable crusting edge in the groin area and was in bed for a week or two, before it subsided and I was able to function again.
Kindly send the report

Hi
Thanks again
Can you upload the reports? Because slides can be read only by the pathologists.
If you can provide reports with your clinical symptoms, I can correlate clinically and can give the further details.
