What Causes Numbness In The Fingers?

Question: Hello!
Lately, I am experiencing numbness in my thumb and first 2 fingers in both hands. Hand as are painful at night and wake me up.
My fasting BS is 86-90. Have not taken BP lately. I admit I have not been compliant in taking my 5 mg of Lisinopril at bedtime. I have taken drug last 2 nights.
I have lost 40 lbs in last 4 months through diet and exercise. For supplements Intake multivitamin, B complex, C, iron, DIM, D3, 1 scoop of collagen powder in my green smoothie. I recently started taking CLA because I read it is great for belly fat. My numbness seemed to have increased recently after Instarted taking this.

Brief Answer:
Bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome is possible.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
Since hands pain wakes you at night and distribution of numbness follows a nerve distribution pattern, bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome is a strong possible diagnosis.
Drugs you use also may cause peripheral neuropathy, but it is too soon for that.
It is necessary to get evaluated by a Neurologist and to have done nerve conduction study and EMG, in order to achieve a correct diagnosis.
Treatment depends on diagnosis.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Greetings.
