Question: hi,I have been doing a lot of bending, gardening, the back of my knee hurts, painful,i can still walk, but bending my leg hurts,I have lyphodema,so my feet always swell anyway,so thought it was just that, but it is more than that,a little swelling around knee, but not a lot, just painful behind knee.

Brief Answer:
Arthritis likely. Rest of knees and NSAID

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
I understand your concern.
Your symptoms are suggestive of a knee arthritis. If you can rest the knee it would help.
In addition you require an anti inflammatory medicine like ibuprofen or Diclofenac. Paracetamol doesn't have any anti inflammatory action. I presume you have no other health issues.
Do get back to me if you have any other health issues or queries.
If you are not better with rest and anti inflammatory medicine, it would be better to see a doctor and have yourself examined and investigated.
Hope you will get well soon.
