What Causes Pain In Buttocks?

Question: I am having butt pain in centre left side every not and then from last 1-2 year. This pain is so severe that I cant even move my leg or turn during sleep also. but this automatically goes off after 2-5 days every time.

During this butt pain sometimes I feel sensation in my left leg

Hello,

I have studied your case,

Due to compression of nerve root there can be sensation in leg and butt pain
I will advise you to do MRI spine

Another possibility of can be peripheral neuropathy due to pre diabetes, alcohol, hypothyroidism ect.
Blood work up and EMG-NCV [nerve conduction] study will help.

For these symptoms methylcobalamine and neurotropic medication like amitryptiline can be started consulting your doctor.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.
Epidural steroid shot can help if no relief with medication.
