Brief Answer:
It is early stage of cervical spondylitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir,

I have read your question and studied your MRI and other reports. It looks to me that you are having neck pain and hand pain due to pinching nerve in spine. It is very early stage and MRI showing only disc dehydration but no herniation. I would suggest you following:

1. Avoid keeping your neck in same position for long time like when you are watching TV or laptop.
2. Meet a physio and learn neck muscle strengthening exercises.
3. Gabapentin and Methylcobalamine can be taken. |I would suggest gabapentine at night as it causes sedation.
4. Avoid using very high pillow, riding bike or any sport where your neck get jerk.

This condition will take some time to improve. You can report back to me or your orthopedician if the following measures don't relieve the pain.

Let me know if you have any other question.

Thanks and take care.

Brief Answer:
Soft collar can help you.

Detailed Answer:
hello,
I do not recommend any sport. This is episodic disease and and it will improve with time. I would suggest you to use traction at home. You can talk to your physiotherapist and can arrange traction at home. This will provide you good pain relief. As I told you previously that you should not keep your neck in same position for long time.So whenever you need to do computer work, wear a neck collar . I hope this answer will help you. Let me know if you want to ask any other question. thanks.
