Hello,
1. I know it's painful situation but don't worry there are solutions in medical field.
2.Ur CT showed more problem than your MRI is not because you refused to take injection.
In disc problems MRI is better than CT.
Ur CT was done to see for bone problem in spine.
So I would like to trust your MRI report more than CT as you have disc problem.
3. They have reported disc bulge at L5-S1 disc bulge with thecal sac compression and foraminal compression on MRI.
This means that your L5 nerve roots are getting compressed which will lead to radiating pain from back to leg.
4. For this problem I would advise you to do a few things .
If possible get atleast few images and upload, so that I can rule out your other disc involvement as mentioned in CT.
U should take your report and meet a orthopedic doctor.
And consult a physiotherapist who would teach you exercises for your problem which will help relieving ur problem
5. Try to avoid lifting heavy weight or lift things with a jerk which could further damage it.
6. For protection to more damage avoid uncomfortable shoes which will strain your leg.
7. U can try using lumbar support belt when possible.
Hope this helps you.
u can contact me if you have any queries.
Thank you and take care.
