Question: Hello, I am having pain in the epididymis of my right testicle, which is leading to pain in my lower abdomen and stomach. The pain goes in and out, it is not constant. I completed US Army Airborne School 7 days ago and the pain started after I had been wearing the parachute harness for multiple days, which was very tight around my upper thighs and groin. I thought I would give it a few days to see if the pain went away, but it continues to persist. Any recommendations or expertise would be greatly appreciated.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. Your symptoms are suggesting epididymo-orchitis. I would suggest you to visit hospital & get an appointment for a urologist. He will advise ultrasound of scrotum which will show increased vascularity. After confirmation urologist will prescribe antibiotic therapy. Meanwhile following measures will help early recovery:

- ibuprofen thrice a day for pain
- wear loose undergarments.
- Avoid excess pressure.
- avoid sex till you become healthy again.
