just one month but no fever and dont have the habit of smoking .there is no other symptoms .this pain on and off

This could be upper respiratory infection. Most probably recurrent tonsillitis. You need clinical examination of throat for confirmation.

I recommend you to take analgesics like tablet ibuprofen for pain relief.

Avoid refrigerated foods and drinks, as these may aggravate this condition.

You will be fine. Nothing to worry.
