Question : Healthy and fit male but recent squeezing pain on mid right side by stomach and ribcage. Havent felt well for a week with a decrease in appetite and lost a few pounds too. Maybe some centered discomfort and reflux after eating but the squeezing on right side has been steady. Appendics already out. Hard to describe but a squeezing ill feeling.

I have read your query and understand your concern.

Your symptoms of squeezeing could be due to gall stones and your pain in the center with reflux point towards gastritis.

But what is of concern is your decreased appetite and weight loss. These could point towards a malignancy, and at your age it is a possibility, though rare.

So i would suggest that you get an ultrasound of your abdomen, to look for any stones or growth.

Also a clinical examination will be very helpful to help reach a diagnosis.

So it is advisable to see a surgeon with the usg report for a clinical evaluation.

Further management will depend upon these reports.
