What Causes Pain With Pins And Needles?

Question: How long does it take to find out if you have ms for the past 5 yrs been having pain and pins and needles I already have had 2 emg 4 brain MRI CTL spine MRI still have pain would ms have shown up already

Brief Answer: MS should have shown by now. Detailed Answer: If you had 4 MRI then surely by now MS would have shown if it was there. Your symptoms indicate peripheral neuropathy.So detailed evaluation of causes leading neuropathy should be undertaken. A consultation with neurologist to list out investigations not done till today can be undertaken.There are chances you can find the underlying cause. Went to neurologist twice 2 emg showed nothing im getting concern as it keeos getting worst have pain everyday what other advice can you give dr states its fibromyalagia due to i get elbow pain but i dont really think its that what test woukd determine periphel neuropathy

Can fibromyalgia cause these symptoms will call neuro for a follow up but if ncv is negative what else can cause my symptoms

Brief Answer: Fibromyalgia should presented with more symptoms Detailed Answer: If its nerve related then it can be due to deficiencies, imbalances and myopathies. But I feel nerve conduction study should throw some light on this. Regards.
