Brief Answer:
You are safe. Your test is conclusive

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I am dr. kakkar (dermatologist and venereologist). I have gone through your query and I have noted your concern.

A screening test done at or beyond 3 months from last risky sexual contact is conclusive. Your screening test came negative at 6 months from last risky sexual exposure therefore it is conclusive.

Brief Answer:
You are safe

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

You can indulge in sexual intercourse with your wife.
Throat pain and weight loss are not specific symptoms of HIV infection. Moreover weight loss is significant if it is more than 10% within the last 6 months.
As far as throat pain is concerned i suggest you to visit an ENT specialist who would do a thorough examination for a local cause, most likely an infection. You may as well talk to an internal medicine specialist for weight loss.
