Sinus pain

Sinus pressure
Post nasal drip
Constant drip into chest/ stomach
Bad stomach pain and cramps watery stool thinking due to antibiotics
Stuffy nose and head
Watery and itchy eyes
Very fatigued and tired
Left eye spasm pressure more than right side
Cough
Allergic to codine and sulfa drugs
Lasted 3 and a half weeks
Temperature changes make symptoms worse
Took Augmentin 875 for 5-6 days had to stop due to very bad stomach issues went off a day ago
Have tried Musinex, sudafed, Allegra, nasacort, ginger oil and oregano oil drops, etc. prednisone I did several days but side effects aren't worth it with stomach and tmj aggravated and facial flushing and no sleep
So sinus infection/pressure pain/issues/congestion
Tmj
Stomach discomfort
Very frustrating it's been 3 and a half weeks
What do you recommend I take or don't take to catch a break and get me on road to healing? I have seasonal allergies and it all started with virus I guess 3 and a half weeks ago with sore throat that lasted about three weeks. My son had some of the same symptoms but he is better and seems to be feeling good unlike me who remains frustrated and fatigued.
Also is it normal to have pain behind the eyes especially in the left with spasm feel or should I be concerned? thanks for your help!
Acute sinusitis
Detailed Answer:
hi
welcome to healthcaremagic and thanks for the query
from your complaints I can make out that you are suffering from acute sinusitis
the sinus pressure and the post nasal drip is due to acute Sinusitis only
prolonged sinusitis can lead to Eye Pain and even ear pain leading to paining on pressure on the TM Joint
Amoxicillin is known to cause stomach upset so better to stop that
if I had been your treating doctor I would have prescribed fluticasone nasal spray 3 times a day and tablet levofloxacin 400 once daily, tablet phenylephrine and levocetirizine combination twice every day
take steam inhalation twice a day at least
it would be best if you can visit an ENT specialist because in few cases intervention maybe required or you can get 1 CT pns done and send me the reports so that I can suggest you further
all the medicines you can get only on prescription follow up with your reports
wishing you a speedy recovery regards
