Brief Answer:
Adolescent changes

Detailed Answer:
Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.
These could be just adolescent changes in mentality and physical development. But certain issues are not very usual like - Stopping to eat, stopping to go out and play and speaking very little.
I put forth these possibilities -
1. Adolescent type of adamancy - This is a natural phenomenon when it occurs in the teen years but 9 years is too early. Does she ever complain to you that she is being cared for by a single parent unlike other families. This type of frustration could manifest like this.
2. Breast bud development and discharge from vagina are common in this age group. Now a days due to epidemiological shift girls are getting pubertal changes early.
3. Calm and polite girl misbehaving and getting irritated again could point out to some sort of frustration and disappointment she might be harboring.
4. Stopping to eat and becoming lean - could be a pointer towards anorexia nervosa - a false feeling distorted body image- due to which adolescent girls feel that they are fat and stop eating.
5. Stopping to play and be social - I want to rule out any child abuse in any point of contact with the society. being a single mom kid, she would be thinking not to bother you further in this regard, when you are already over worked. I would like you to talk to her persuasively in this aspect.

Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.

Brief Answer:
Suggestions on adolescent behaviour

Detailed Answer:
Hi...thanks for your trust in me.

What I mean by adolescent adamancy is that - the kids when they are in this age group, they get influenced by their peer groups and how their peers interact with them. Some might have observed or heard from some of her friends about the way they behave with their own parents....like not listening to them or being more adamant like that.

I am glad that you have already told and explained about good and bad touch and the known adults especially males taking undue advantage of the situation.

The only suggestion I can give about gaining your little princess's confidence back is by spending more time with her if you can. What I mean by spending more time is not just being under one roof - I mean literally engaging her with your conversation/ indoor games with her/ outing only with you two and nobody else etc like that. For example you can help her in doing her home work or some academic help like helping out in the subject she is scared of or something like that.

I wish your relationship with her a fresh bloom with my suggestions. If you need any future medical consultation and suggestions, I will be glad to help. You can approach me at the following link. Please find the link below.
