What Causes Pink Discoloration On The Penis Head?

Question: Hello, I recently noticed a couple of light pink spots of discoloration around the head of my pens. It's not itchy or painful or fluid filled. It's just discolored and like a slight lump. I'm concerned as to what this could be. I'm hoping it's just irritation of some kind.

This most probably is representative of a minor infection that since seems to have cleared.

It would be best, under these circumstances, to maintain good hygiene by thorough cleaning of the part just using plain water and drying up.

It actually didn't appear until a few days a go when I was tampering with the head to look at the quality of the skin. So I was thinking maybe it just became irritated from me doing that.
