What Causes Pressure In The Chest, Back Pain And Fatigue?

Question: Merry Christmas,
I have had pain and pressure in my chest for about 3 days. My shoulders and back are tight and painful and hurts all the way down my spine. My lower right side is in pain as well. I'm very fatigued....pretty much all my joints ache.

Generalized body aches and fatigue can be related to a number of causes. In case of chest pressure and discomfort , a cardiac cause must always be the first to rule out. Taking into consideration the other symptoms, I would advise the following workup in consult with your GP. Complete blood count, ECG, ESR, chest x ray , basic metabolic panel including liver function tests. Based on the clinical findings and lab results , a final diagnosis can be reached. For now, you can take ibuprofen 400 mg thrice a day for the pain.
