What Causes Pulsing Sound In The Ear?
Question: I've had a pulsing sound in my ear for three days now and it's really making hearing hard for me. How do I treat it ? Do I need antibiotics for a ear infection ?

Pulsing sound in the ear can be because of many reasons like hypertension, diabetes, brain haemorrhage, stroke, inner ear disease like meneires disease, bppv, simple wax in ear, trauma to the ear, drugs, middle ear infection, etc etc etc.
Pulsing sound from 3 days with hard of hearing suggests middle ear infection or inner ear problems.
This needs clinically evaluation.
If it's diagnosed as ear infection, then you can take antibiotics. You don't have any other symptoms like earache, pus from ear, ear block suggestive of infection.
Empirically you can take beta hi Stine tablet 16 to 24 mg twice a day +ginkobiloba tab 40 mg odfor a week and see.
If symptoms persists, then please consult the doctor, and get tested.
