Enclosed please find pictures of the red spots on my arm. Also my last ast value was 90
Brief Answer:
Please send good quality pictures.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome again,
I have gone through both the pictures and both are almost blur,so please send some good quality pictures.
Your AST (SGOT) -90 level is very slightly elevated (but not too high) and it does not have any clinical significance especially in the absence clinical symptoms.
All these LFTs (SGOT with SGPT) are highly sensitive liver function tests,so they get easily raised following oily or fatty meal or even few alcohol drinks.
But it is NOT dangerous and probably it will come down to normal by themselves within few days.
Very high level of these tests depends on the underlying cause, however they get elevated significantly (say more than 500 or 1000 which is considered high clinically) in case some liver disease like viral hepatitis etc.
So, do not worry about it and possibly avoid fatty/junk/oily foods further or alcohol if you take.
You can repeat the test for SGOT after 3 or 4 weeks on fasting blood sample and most probably, it will come within normal limits.
You may also take syrup LIV-52 DS 2TSF daily which is a herbal preparation having hepato-protective property and may be beneficial for you.
Hope this helps.

Hi, I have provided some attachments. Please review them.
Brief Answer:
provide more information,
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have reviewed the pictures,
These red spots could be allergic eczema or may be something else but it is slightly difficult to figure out fro just a single look at the picture.
So,I would like to ask some more information,
Do you have itching or burning sensations around these spots?
From how many days you have noticed them?
Any over the counter medications or topical cream/ointment tried?
Any history of past disease?
Please get back to me with these answers.

No, I do not have itching or burning sensation in those spotsI noticed these spots about 2 weeks ago but they exist only on the arms and below the elbow. I have not tried any cream or ointment. No history of skin disease only 3 years ago a small wart was removed from my face and never came back. Doctor said it was from Florida sun.
Brief Answer:
Try antihistamine cream.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the more information,
You may try some over the counter antihistamine cream (like benadryl cream) over the red spots as it may be due to some allergic.
However,as I said earlier,it is difficult to figure out from just a picture.
You may wait for 3 or 4 days to see some improvement following applications of benadryl cream and in case,if these spots persist even after that,it is better to seek help from dermatologist and get evaluated further.
You can take daily one Liv 52-DS tablet for initial 6 weeks as we discussed earlier.Since it is a herbal preparation, there is no issue to take it.
