What Causes Redness And Swelling Of Genitals Post Injury?
Question: I accidentally fell on a wet floor and did a split and it is PAINFUL. 24 hours later my genitals are swollen
and purple/red. I can urinate fine and no pain (aside from my groin area killing me) and I can walk fine (gingerly but already better then when it first happened). But I am stressing about the swelling and freakish colors changing in my privates.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. There is a possibility that fall resulting in pressure to trauma to genital area resulting in trauma to soft tissue and subcutaneous edema. It will take few days to settle. Meanwhile i would suggest you to take ibuprofen thrice a day for 3 days. Take hot water in a rubber bottle and place it on groin area. IT will give soothing effect.
Hopefully it will improve in 2-3days BUT if condition remains same or aggravates then you need to visit hospital.
