Detailed Answer:
Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you!
Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I will take care all of your medical concerns.
There are many reasons for smell from the nose that bothers the patient himself too.
Usually chronic diseases of the Paranasal Infections, nasal cavity infections, nasal septal degenerative infectious disorders are the main causes of this kind of symptoms.
You most probably have Chronic Sinusitis and need to be treated properly. If I was your treating physician I would have prescribed you with Clarithromycin antibiotics if not allergic to and of course a follow up right after two weeks. Along With that I must have added you with Ebastine, Ibuprofen, Prednisolone and saline nasal douches (with warm saline water many times a day).
Avoid allergens inside the home and outside. Avoid inside pets and animal dander. Pollens are bad for you and also the extremes of weather.
Avoid going out for longer times in dry hot XXXXXXX days. At home, keep a cool mist humidifier and keep it on most of the time especially when sleeping. It is to keep your respiratory tract moist to keep the sense of smell better.
Have a wonderful time ahead. Hope I answered all of your questions. Let me know if you have any further clinical concerns. I will be happy to get back to you shortly. If satisfied here, please give a five star rating and don't forget to close the discussion.
Regards!
