Well. if you are experiencing swelling of the jointd along with itching, there is a possibility that either Humara gas stopped working and is throwing some reaction. It does happen with long use of these biological that patient develops antibodies and the efficacy of the drug goes down.

The other possibility is development of chronic pain syndrome(fibromyalgia) which is very common in patiens with long standing rheumatoid arthritis..

So firstly I would suggest you get it evaluated by rheumatologist. if the appointment is late, let your gp see the joints.. also get your inflammatory markers like esr and crp. if inflammation is seen, we need to stop Humira and switch to some other medicine.

if all is negative that is your blood test, joint swelling then we may need to treat it as Fibromyalgia
