What Causes Severe Pain In The Thighs?
Question: Developed a strong pain along the inside of my right thigh. I normally exercise on regular basis but have not done anything in past 2 days and haven't strained.
No
Brief Answer:
Osteoarthrities.
Detailed Answer:
Dear. I understand. There could be many reasons for inner right thigh drawing pain. There are pains which continue for few minutes, few hours or few days.
The most prominent reason is muscular strain. You can introspect yourself. Then you should write off this cause.
Kidney stones can produce pain along right or left thigh inner side or the whole pelvic area. Scanty urine, pain while urination. It’s usually a very intense and sudden pain that occurs in spasms. The pain will go away between spasms and then come back.
Deterioration of cartilage can be due to old age, genetics, obesity, joint injuries, bone deformities, having diabetes or gout, rheumatoid arthritis, etc. leads to osteoarthritis which leads to inner thigh pain along with other joint problems.
Check to see whether you have any abscess, inguinal hernia etc. Just pressing passing your hands along the inner thigh should tell you if there is any.
Some other causes of pain in inner thigh are lipoma, edema, septic arthritis, sciatica, or side effects from surgery like hip replacements or knee replacements.
Go through the information above. If you see any resemblance, or not, and if the pain is constant for two or three days, please consult a doctor in person. Take care.
