Clinical Laboratory Scientist. I stand a lot.
No injury.
Started yesterday.
Nothing makes it better. Standing/walking makes it worse but it hurts while sitting also.
Have not tried ice or heat. Have tried rest and elevation.
My biggest concern is DVT as I just started birth control pills after being off of them for years. I'm 35.

Brief Answer:
It doesn't looks to be DVT

Hello
It's good to see you
I have gone through your reply carefully and It looks to be a stress fracture rather than DVT.
As in DVT the calf region becomes painful and red and warm to touch.
My suggestion would be to have rest,Ice application, ibuprofen along with vitamin D and calcium.Diet rich in calcium also helps.
Hope this helps.
