Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.
I can understand your concern for the smell at foreskin area short while after washing it properly.
I can get that you are uncircumcised male of 25 years. It is quite a normal process in all uncircumcised males of young age to have mild to moderate smell at foreskin area.
To tell you simply- our foreskin area and glans skin contains numerous oil glands and sweat glands. It is normal physiological process of the foreskin area to secret sweat and oil secretion daily and continuously. This appears as mild whitish secretion known as smegma.
There are certain bacterias at the foreskin area which degrades the sweat and oil in smegma. In this degradation process there is release of certain compounds which gives a typical odor at foreskin area.
As the secretion and activity of bacteria is a continuous process therefore the smell or odor can come even within 1 hour of proper washing the area.
So you need not to be worried about this simple process in all uncircumcised males. You can additionally wash the area for 2-3 times with plane water only to reduce the intensity of smell. Do not use any harsh chemicals as can cause irritation and burning over the area. You can continue using cetaphil antibacterial soap as is quite mild soap to be used at this area.
I hope these informations will help you. I will be glad to answer any further queries.
Wish you good health.
Regards.
