Seems to be local infection. Needs management as below!!!

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HCM!

I appreciate your consultation and trust in this health forum. It is my pleasure to assist you today.

This seems to be an infection locally that have caused the symptoms like this. Usually a bacterium called Staph. aureus cause such infections. Bacteria reside on our skin all the time.

You need to consult your Physician for a prescription of:
Clindamycin by mouth if not allergic to. You need to complete the course of medication as per your Physician's advice.
Ibuprofen by mouth to relieve pain and swelling in the area.
Apply Procort topical ointment on the affected area for better relief.

Keep a judicious supply of clean drinking water and remain physically active as much as you can. Wash your face with Neutrogenna Face wash and use oil free lotion for moisturizing the facial skin. Apply sunscreen lotion SPF-60 when going out in direct sunlight.

If you feel nothing is helping anymore for you please consult a local Dermatologist for proper evaluation and management. Your PCP will help you refer to the local Dermatologist in your area.

Please feel free to ask me more if you need further assistance. I will be happy to assist. If satisfied here, please click on Close the Discussion and add your valuable feedback.

Regards!

if I use that medicine and ointment, would my swelling and itching get off?

I have no option for consulting a physician here because of expensive medical charges in USA. So, please, suggest me some medication so that I can use and instruct how to use them.

Thank You.

Brief Answer:
Pink Grapefruit is name of Facewash actually!

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back with a follow up query. I appreciate your concerns.

Well, as aforementioned, you definitely need to take care of your diet to help keeping your body weight in limits. No fast and fried foods for you, avoid processed meat and take more of Vegetables, salads and fruits in diet.

The Pink grapefruit you are asking for is actually part of the name of that Facewash from Neutrogena. Neutrogena has many different subtypes. One is Pink Grapefruit and seems to best suit your skin.
