What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes, Tiredness, Nausea, Weight Loss And Lack Of Appetite?

default
Posted on Wed, 28 Jun 2017
Question: Hello. I am experiencing extreme fatigue, swollen and hard lymph nodes, but no fever. I am not able to gather energy to do anything -- even drive to the doctor or take a shower. This has gone on for almost two weeks now, and I am getting worried.

I forgot to add several things. I am also extremely nauseous a lot of the time. I either have trouble sleeping or sleep constantly; and I have virtually no appetite whatsoever.

Brief Answer:
Advise to undergo further evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic

I have gone through your history in detail. It would be helpful if you could let me know the location of lymph nodes you are noticing.

However, swollen hard lymph nodes, tiredness, weight loss, lack of appetite etc definitely require further evaluation. Infections like tuberculosis , Infectious mono nucleosis, Hematological malignancies and organ tumors are all likely possibilities. It is important to follow up with your primary care provider as soon as possible to undergo evaluation to rule out these possibilities, as early diagnosis and treatment can provide fantastic results.
It would be helpful if you could provide details regarding location of lymph nodes, so that I can give a more clear and definite answer.

The lymph node under my right armpit is swollen and hard, and has been that way for a week now. The glands in my throat are only slightly swollen, but that is off and on -- and very, very slight.
