These symptoms are not life threatening and nothing suggest that they are caused by possible bacterial infection that require antibiotics at this time. Most infections of the head and neck regions especially with flu like symptoms are caused by viruses. Managing the symptoms is often enough for complete treatment. In your case, I will recommend that you continue with paracetamol and Ibuprofen for a total and maximum of 5days. If symptoms persist, I will suggest that you seek further medical evaluation with your GP. If things get a lot better, then you may continue home care.
In all, no symptom threatening. Could be viral and home treatment for 5days should be continued and further care needed if it persist.
