What Causes The Feeling Of Something Stuck In The Throat?

kindly give few more details
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Welcome to HCM forum.
I can have a better idea if you give few more details.
When did you notice this? Did it followed any meal?
Do you have any other symptoms like fever/throat pain/bad mouth taste or smell?
This can be either due to some foreign bodies stuck there while swallowing or lymphoid tissue enlargement from pharyngitis. These can be distinguished by a direct examination and treated accordingly.
The former just need removal under direct vision and the later may need antibiotics.
Kindly get back me with details.
Meanwhile, you can take simple analgesics like acetaminophen or ibuprofen if needed. Also do warm saline gargles.
Hope this answer will help.
Thank you.

Need a direct examination.
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
If it happened out of nowhere, it is less likely to be a foreign body stuck there.
If I was your treating physician, after excluding foreign body by a careful examination of the throat, I will suggest a course of antibiotics like azithromycin/amoxicillin+clavulonate along with warm saline gargles(especially with the given history of sore throat).
So it will be fine if you can see your doctor.
Or, if the sore throat and foreign body sensation is coming down, you can try warm saline gargles and simple analgesics like acetaminophen for 3 days to see the result- if better, just continue for a total of 5 days.
Hope you got cleared now.
Take care.
Thank you.
