What Causes Transient Dizziness, Crossing Of Eyes And Nausea?
I had high blood pressure a few years ago and it was happening all the time. After I was diagnosed, I took coveram 10/10 for a couple of years, but the dry hacking cough drove me nuts, but the cross eyed episodes stopped. Now I have changed my BP meds and the cross eyed problem is back.
Not many Docs seem to have heard of this before, yet the internet has a number of similar stories.
Im 46 and male.
These symptoms indicate transient ischemic attack.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic
I am Dr. Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.
I reviewed your history.
The symptoms of transient dizziness, crossing of eyes, nausea.... indicate transient ischemic attack.
The common causes are increased blood pressure or low blood pressure, hypovolemia, hypoglycemia....
Since you are known to be having high blood pressure this can be a cause in your case.
Since you have changed your BP medicines recently you need to check for adequacy of its control and to adjust the dosage accordingly.
Hence I advice you to consult your primary care physician for evaluation in this regard and advice accordingly.
Hope this information is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.
Thank you
With regards
