Question: my son is having some ulcers at the top of the throat and he is crying for pain. i am giving him becosules syrup and applying analgesic gel. but he is continuously crying. can you please suggest some quick pain relieving options

Brief Answer: please give him paracetamol Detailed Answer: Hello Although I have not seen your son but considering the medications you are taking I am assuming that he is most probably having aphthous ulcers, these can be very painful. The safest pain reliever would be paracetamol, which comes as both a syrup or tablet . And is very safe in children. The dose will depend on the weight of your child. Thanks
