What Could Painless White Spot On Back Of Throat Mean?
I have a big white spot on the left back of my throat. It was smaller at first and hurt alot but not it is pretty big and has stopped hurting as much. It was like a canker sore and now it is not really hurting but hasnt gone away yet. What might this be and how long do you think it might take for the white spot to go away?
It is necessary performing a bacterial culture (throat swab) of the material on this white spot in order to determine the type of possible infection (bacterial or fungal). This will help determine the best treatment option. We can not judge about the time of recovery without this kind of test.
