I am so sorry to hear about what your husband is going through. I have reviewed this information fully and his diabetes is certainly poorly controlled. His blood sugars are high and that explains why there is huge urination frequency, the reason for weight loss and his bad shape. 1tablet of metformin is probably insufficient. I strongly recommend that goes to the hospital immediately. He must also drink much water so as to avoid getting dehydrated.
