What Causes Vomiting In An Infant After Feeding When Diagnosed With Colic?

Respectfully
Do not worry
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concerns but don't worry. The most likely reason for vomiting in early infancy is inadequate burping in between and after feeds, overfeeding or gastro esophageal reflux. For this all you have to do is feeding on demand at 2-4 hours interval, proper burping in between and after feeds for few minutes (to get rid of ingested air or aerophagia) and keeping head end of baby slightly at higher level while placing her in the crib. Most cases improve by these measures and do not need any medicines.
Ensure exclusive breastfeeding and burping. Feed from one side completely before changing sides. This will ensure both foremilk (which quenches thirst) and hind milk (which satisfy appetite) for baby. It will also relieve colics which usually occur due to more fore milk and inadequate burping.
Hopefully your baby will improve by these measures. If still she doesn't improve then use colicaid drops (only thrice a day) for colic.
Pyloric stenosis usually occur in males, is associated with forceful vomits followed by immediate hunger cry and is associated with palpable lump and visible peristalsis. It can be easily detected on clinical examination. Since pediatrician has examined her, its unlikely the responsible cause in your baby.
Tracheo oesophageal fistulas have completely different presentation and highly unlikely reason in your baby.
Hopefully this will be of help.
Take care
