Brief Answer:
side effect of cerazette
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thanks for your query.
The common side effects by using Cerazette are:
Changes in menstrual bleeding, eg irregular bleeding or sometimes stopping of bleeding.
Weight gain.
Although your chances of being pregnant are very small I would recommend you,at least one pregnancy test at home.
You should consult with your doctor if you have three missed periods in row.

Hi there
Thanks for your reply. I will do a test although I do one periodically anyway as I don't have periods on cerazette. The question was more related to the water retention. It feels exactly as you feel before a period and I was a little confused about this as I'm unlikely to get a period (it hasn't started today at least). Is it still common to gain water weight at the point that you would normally have a period?
I don't usually. At least not to this extent. I've gained 5lbs in a few days and definitely feel as though I'm retaining water. Is it likely to be this or is it more likely to be caused by something else.
Many thanks
Brief Answer:
Has no relation with another cause
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
As I said, water retention is from the use of cerazette. As more water is held up in your organs, your face and some of the other parts of body might start looking a bit puffier.
However, this side effect should not be responsible for the increase of weight greater than a pound.
Plus, you can reduce it by cutting down on fizzy drinks, caffeine and taking HRI water tablets.
