What Causes White Flakes In Stool?
Question: I have small white particles in my stool that float to the top of the
water. I have had 5 stool test done and all come back negative but
I know this isn't normal. I have never seen any thing that looks like worms.
I eat a lot of walnuts and I thought it might be nuts I didn't chew well but they
still appear even when I don't consume nuts. My stool has also changed, it is loose
and falls apart. Can auto immune condition cause this. I have tried olive leaf and oregano oil
but no change. I do take herbs to kill microbial, if I don't take these herb I get itching had a pinworm
test done but that was negative also. Hope you can help.

Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
The white flakes are often present as a part of the mucosa of the intestine.
I don't think you need to worry.
Yet a single tablet of albendazole can be taken to make sure any untested parasite is also treated.
And if it persists after that, a colonoscopy may be planned.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Best of luck. Dr Mittal

Detailed Answer:
since stool tests are normal, even I am considering I as a remote possibility.
If you could upload the stool test, I could have been more sure.
Albendazole is quite a safe drug. And it's a single dose.
As far as your question about what could be the skin shedding, I have already said it's a normal process. I sense you wish to ask something particular. If you can name it I can tell you better rather than beating around the bush.
Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
