Question: I am a 37 year old female. I have been having pain in my joints and in my kidney area. I went to ER and they said nothing was wrong with me. My blood work came back and It is as follows;
Neut% 41.8 Abs neu 3.7 wbc 8.8 AGap 11
Lymph% 44.8 abs lymph 3.9 rbc 3.9 Alk Phos 111
Mono% 7.4 abs mono 0.7 hgb 11.4
EOS% 4.6 abs eos 0.4 hct 34.6
Baso% 1.4 abs baso 0.1 BUN/Creat Ratio 21

All of my other results looked pretty normal.
Urine was clear with no infection. I feel like I an dizzy some for no reason. The left side of my body does not feel like the right. I can't explain the feeling just slightly different. I have went to a back doctor and he said all was fine. He did a series of regular x-rays. Iknow that something is wrong with me but no one seems to know? Any ideas??

Brief Answer:
Musculoskeletal spasm likely

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. All the work up you shared is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. With normal work up and no urine infection, back pain in flank area may be attributed to merely a musculoskeletal spasm and should be resolved with slight rest and a few pain killers like advil and some muscle relaxants like skelaxin.

Let me reassure you again, nothing is wrong with you and this pain is self resolving and needs supportive measures only and some rest. Start some calcium supplements as well and avoid lifting heavy weights.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
