Question : For the last 6-8 months I have been getting sores inside my nostrils and the edge of my nostrils will crack. For the longest time all I could smell was dirty feet. I had been on Diflucan every other day for a month. I was done 4 days ago. I can feel the sores returning and now have a vinegar smell. Thoughts?

Brief Answer:
please do the following

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX welcome to HCM,

You can do the following---

Apply petroleum jelly/vaseline inside your nostrils three times a day.
Do steam inhalation with plain water twice a day.

Continue with Diflucan once a week for total 8 weeks (if you have already not taken for 8 weeks, and if you think it helped) after consulting your doctor.

A local scraping and microscopic report of the area will help to analyse and/ rule out if any infective source is there.

Please revert back.
Regards
