What Do Red Rashes On Penis Foreskin Indicate?
Since yesterday I noticed small reddish rashes on my fore head (foreskin) of the penis. I get itch sometimes but not always and there is no pains as such. Few days back I washed directly by putting shampoo on the head of the penis , may be because of this I have got tiny rashes on the forehead of my penis. Meanwhile I found some Ant fungal ointment to apply (Tablet taken- CIPLA’s Fluka 150 and anti-fungal cream INTADERMA ).
My Personal Info: I am married and 40 years old. Since marriage, I have never had a such issues like this. First time I am experiencing this issues.
Please advise any nice antibiotic tab and cream for this problem.

Hi, welcome to HCM,
May be You are suffering from balanoposthitis as per your description.
It is a candidal infection.
Other differential which can occur with similar presentation is scabies.

If it is balanoposthitis for my patients I suggest Cap Isotretinoin 100 mg twice daily for 7 days. It is a prescribed medication.
Apply Luliconazole lotion twice daily.
Don't manipulate the prepuce (foreskin) too much may lead to phimosis.
Rule out Diabetes mellitus as well.

It is Lichen Planus
Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome again,
It is most likely to be lichen planus.
What about your oral mucosa? Is there any lacy pattern or hyperpigmentation there?
Lichen planus is a chronic, inflammatory, autoimmune disease that affects the skin, oral mucosa and genital mucosa. The lesion is covered by lacy, reticular, white lines known as Wickham striae, which is visible in the picture.
In genitals, it does not itch more and is NOT a sexually transmitted disease.
Small 3 mm punch biopsy is helpful to confirm the diagnosis.
Hope this is helpful.
If you have any other query in mind, please go ahead.
Thanks
Thanks for the reply.
As said earlier, I have applied an ant- fungal cream on it. That's why the white colored cream appears on the skin. Thanks for confirming that this is not related to STD.
As prescribed here I should procced to take these medicine. I mean tablet and lotion suggested by you.
Rx- Luliconazole lotion and Cap Isotretinoin 100 mg .
